Text George ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of HelpMe, Inc. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our text-based concierge service at textgeorge.com.
When you text our number, we collect your phone number, message content, and any photos or location information you share so we can understand your request and connect you with local service providers. If you pay for our handling service, payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.
We use your information solely to operate the service: intake your request, quote and collect our flat handling fee, find and contact local providers on your behalf, and send you transactional updates about your request.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used only to provide the Text George service. We may share your contact information with a service provider you have asked us to connect you with, and only as needed to fulfill your request.
By texting Text George, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages related to your request. Message frequency varies depending on your activity, typically a handful of messages per request (intake, payment link, status updates, and provider details). Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further messages. Reply HELP for help. After you opt out, you may text us again at any time to re-subscribe and start a new request.
We retain conversation and request data as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information.
